Dear Classmates,
Please nominate our classmate Diane D-Apolito-May for New Jersey Magazine's "Garden State Seeds of Hope" Award. Award recognition is given yearly to NJ Residents who give of themselves to make a difference in others' lives. Diane's Foundation, "Beyond the Rainbow", has for the past 15 years helped 33 families of catastrophic injury or illness, all from her position of having suffered a central brain stem stroke seventeen years ago. As she was left unable to move or speak, her wishes are communicated through an exhaustive series of blinks to an extremely dedicated group of family and friends who work tirelessly on behalf of the Foundation she started. Needless to say, there are many people to give of themselves and their time to make the lives of others' better -- but no one does it from the position that Diane is in--nor is anyone more dedicated to their mission of helping others than Diane. The fact that she chose to not only continue in life as fully as possible, but to impact others' is a testament of her spirit and dedication to having a purpose no matter what -- and that is truly admirable and deserving of all our recognition.

So please help us by giving a few minutes of your time before the April 22nd deadline to either nominate her electronically or by sending a letter. We are doing this to help achieve her goal of raising visibility for the Beyond the Rainbow Foundation so that it may continue help assist the many others' who are in need. Thank you for your time in support of our remarkable classmate and friend.
